About Me

Tillerman Pete is a three piece blues and roots band from Melbourne, utilising loops, riffs, slides, smoke and mirrors, hints and allegations and a roly-poly little bat faced girl, blending acoustic story telling and slide guitar with elements of Delta Blues, and folk fingerpicking to create his own colourful take on life.

Tillerman Pete have shared the stage with Geoff Achison, Collard Greens and Gravy, The Delta Riggs, Jimi Hocking, Dallas Crane, Lloyd Speigel to name a few. A festival feature at 2015 & 2016 Independent Stage on St Kilda Festival Sunday, 2016 Queenscliff Music Festival, 2016 Anglesea Music Festival, the band's first EP 'Petrichor' has featured widely on community radio across Melbourne and regional airwaves.

A regular on the festival circuit, Tillerman has been a hit more recently at the 2017 Mordialloc Food and Wine Festival, 2017 & 2018 Bendigo Beer and Cider Festival, and written and recorded 'Western Bulldogs Taking Over' played prior to all Western Bulldogs AFL games throughout seasons 2016-2018.
