About Me

‘Legends of Perhaps’ are an Indie/Folk/Pop group hailing from Cairns. Amber flaunts vocals, guitar and saxophone, Holly combines synth and piano, Jade adds funky bass lines and drummer Jake incorporates eclectic beats. The band debuted their self-titled album in 2017, hitting no.1 on BalconyTVCairns and Top10 Worldwide, supported award-winning Leanne Tennant at Festival 2018 and were selected as Queensland Music award finalists. Amber was chosen to write the theme song for ‘Symphony for Tomorrow’ which was performed with the ‘Queensland Symphony Orchestra’ at Munro Martin Park and recently opened the Cairns Performing Arts Centre. Amber was also selected as a ‘Big Sky Girl’, facilitated by SUGARRUSHMUSIC, Sony/ATvmusic APRAAMCOS and Qmusic which allowed her to record with Jeff Lovejoy at ‘Black box’ studios along with Joel Alexander from ‘Bullhorn’, Tyrone Noonan from ‘George’ and Roz Pappalardo from ‘Women in Docs’. The band released their new single “Imperfect” at Tanks Unplugged in November and were the featured entertainment at the 2019 Cairns Regional Council Australia Day Awards Ceremony at the Cairns Performing Arts Centre.
