Georgia State Line are a Melbourne based alt-country collective hailing from various parts of small town Victoria/ NSW. Fronted by singer-songwriter, Georgia Delves, their music is a blend of old-time country entwined with today’s Americana sound.
Most notably the group have performed alongside Australian country music icon, Bill Chambers, performed at National Folk Festival, Dashville Skyline Festival and showcased as part of Australian Music Week via Americana Music Association of Australia. Most recently their latest offering, debut EP ‘Heaven Knows’ saw a warm reception for the clan, quickly labelling them as “one of Australia’s best up-and-coming” acts (Art News Portal) and garnered nods from Paul Gough (ABC Radio National).
"Many Australian artists refer to themselves as Americana or alt country these days, but very few deliver the real thing as well as Georgia State Line. Hailing from Melbourne but sounding like Texas or Tennessee, this band represents the true essence of today's country music." - Bill Chambers
